Dazzled
Her solo exhibition Dazzled: paintings, prints and watercolours took place at the Shetland Museum and Archives, Lerwick 11 May – 16 June 2019. The exhibition comprised her Shetland work, from sketchbook drawings made whilst out walking to mixed media paintings on canvas and paper, also watercolours, collagraph prints and a series of bespoke velvet cushions using designs based on peat, stone and sea pinks using Shetland colours.
The exhibition included an artist book ‘Wandering’ created from her sketchbooks of drawings and colour notes, photographs, and watercolours,the book was developed in collaboration with Gaada and printed using the risograph process.
Hav & Himmel, Denmark
In May 2014 she was the artist in residence at Doverodde Kobmandsgard, Hurup Thy, Jutland, Northwest Denmark. From this base visits were made to the coast especially Agger beach and Agger Tange famous for stunning sunsets. She took a long drive up to Skagen on the northern most tip of Denmark where she discovered the Danish artist Anna Ancher at the Skagen Museum. The residency resulted in a joint exhibition with the Danish artist Mette-Sofie D. Ambeck at Doverodde entitled Hav & Himmel, (Sea & Sky) from May to June 2015.
