Linda Newington is a visual artist living in Shetland, her work comprises painting, printmaking and artists’ books.
Her paintings are made using mixed media including acrylic, oil and watercolour paint, raw pigment, mica and wax on canvas, paper, and board.  She likes to experiment with colour, mark making, scale and texture.

Sketchbooks, colour notes, photographs and contextual research are an essential part of her practice.
