I am a painter and printmaker based in York. My art includes paintings in mixed media on canvas and paper, watercolours, prints, and work in books. 

A starting point may be something seen, a fleeting moment or from closer observation, maybe in the landscape, from a garden or park, on a walkabout when away on a trip to draw and paint. My sketchbooks and small watercolours are part of the preparation for making larger paintings or prints in the studio.
